STUDENT GUIDE

How learning at GOU works.

A clear, online pathway from application through enrolment, study, assessment, support, and verified credentials.

1

Apply and receive a decision

Submit an application for an approved programme. Admissions records decisions in My GOU and communicates through official university email.

2

Accept your agreement and enrol

Before study begins, read and accept the current enrolment agreement, then select available courses for your term. Financial or scholarship approval is applied before paid enrolment is confirmed.

3

Study in the LMS

Use course modules, OER resources, discussions, assignments, quizzes, and exams. Check the academic calendar, deadlines, feedback, and progress notices regularly.

4

Use support and community safely

Use My GOU support tickets, Campus communities, and encrypted University Chat. Profile and message controls are yours; report unsafe or inappropriate conduct promptly.

5

Receive official outcomes

Only approved grades become part of the official record. The Registrar, Chancellor, or Super Administrator issues credentials with a public verification code.
